2-Hydroxypropyl Acrylate (2-HPA) is a hydroxy-functional acrylic monomer used in coatings, adhesives, acrylic polymers and specialty resin systems.
Its hydroxyl group provides excellent crosslinking capability and improves polymer performance. Commercial 2-HPA is an isomeric mixture dominated by the secondary hydroxyl isomer (~75–80%), offering controlled reactivity and extended pot life.
